Opel Mokka (2025): The interior of the facelift in detail

It was time for updates for the Opel Mokka. The small crossover has therefore undergone a subtle facelift in recent months, during which the design and interior have been revised. And especially in the interior, most of the changes are focused on the equipment, which has been further upgraded, especially in terms of technology.

So let's hop in the new Mokka to find out what's new...

Dashboard and cockpit

At first glance, the layout of the dashboard may be similar to that of the previous model. In reality, however, there are a whole series of innovations. Starting with the new graphics of the instrument cluster and the infotainment display. The two 10-inch units are complemented by a sleek, clean frame and offer plenty of customization options.

For example, infotainment uses ChatGPT's artificial intelligence to independently suggest destinations and routes based on the habits of the connected driver profile. In addition, there is the voice recognition "Hey Opel" and wireless compatibility with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. In the electric Mokka, the infotainment system now also shows charging stations along the route.

Materials and equipment

All fabrics in the interior of the Mokka are made from recycled materials, and the alternation with matt plastic elements creates a modern and inviting ambience. Also new is the steering wheel, the lower part of which is flattened to achieve a sportier look.

Opel has also revised the organization of the center tunnel by moving some options that were previously operated via buttons directly into the infotainment system. The switches of the facelift – including the switch for driving mode selection – are also derived from the new Grandland.

Spaciousness and trunk

The redesign has not changed the space of the Opel, which is still comfortable for four adults, while it gets a little cramped for the fifth person in the middle of the rear seat. Common for B-segment models. Still, the Opel offers a decent trunk with a minimum volume of 350 liters and a maximum volume of 1,105 liters when you fold down the rear seats in a 60:40 ratio. In the case of the electric model, some space is lost, because the minimum volume drops to 310 liters.
